The public site uses privacy-conscious controls for code copies, clicks, searches and free-play security. Masked source usernames stay masked; supplied public referral names and profile images may appear on the relevant board.
When you join the MainGame newsletter, we store your email address, consent wording and time, signup source and current subscription status in the private database. This information is used only for MainGame email about codes, giveaways and content.
You can unsubscribe from any future email. Until a mailing provider is connected, no automated newsletter email is sent and subscriber records remain private.
Registration stores your normalized email address, public display name, a salted password hash, MainGame Credits balance and its audit ledger. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Your email address and ledger are not exposed in the public jackpot feed.
Login sessions use an opaque random token in a Secure, HTTP-only, same-site cookie. Only a one-way token hash is stored in the database. Public jackpot views show display names, Credits entered, chances and round winners.
Account and newsletter systems use keyed one-way network or identity hashes and short-lived attempt records to limit automated abuse. Raw network addresses are not written to those attempt tables.
